Tour Plan
After breakfast, our driver guide will meet you at your accommodation and start 5 days from Fes to Marrakech desert tour. You we leave Fes and driving through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be in Ifrane city which referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. Second stop will be at Forest of Cedar near to Azrou, where we can watch barbarian Monkeys. Then, continue our road to Midelt, the famous town of apples where we will have free time for lunch. Later in the afternoon we’ll drive to Sahara Desert towards Tizi N’talghoumte pass (1907m), passing by small Berber villages and the wonderful Ziz Valley situated in near to Errachidia city. After that we will continue to Merzouga via Aoufous and Erfoud, in 2 hours of driving we will connect with the magic land of sand dunes (Erg-Chebbi) where we will have dinner and stay in a local hotel / or Riad.

After breakfast, we will start our journey around Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. We will explore many interesting places of the area such as: Merzouga Lake (not always full of water) to see the kinds of birds (ducks & flamingos) that coming to live in this lake especially in spring time. We will visit khamliya village where you will listen African music (Gnawa) played by the people originally from the black Africa, then we will continue our off-road desert tour to the black desert behind Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. We will visit an abandoned village where the working mineral fossils, then drive to visit a nomadic Berber family to see them lifestyle.
We’ll back to khamliya to have a delicious lunch in Local restaurant. In the afternoon you will start Camel Trekking Adventure, across the beautiful unique orange colored sand dunes to desert camp. The great experience where you can feed your soul, enjoy the wonderful sunset from the middle of dunes. Dinner & overnight will be in camp, music played and you can frolic on the sand dunes under zillions of stars.
In morning of the next day, is better to wake up early for lovely sunrise, after breakfast & shower return by camel ride / or vehicle to Merzouga village departure to Rissani town. We will walk around the famous, traditional and biggest Market of the area exploring the local-made goods and art crafts. It’s better to visit Rissani in one of the following days: Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. In these three days is souk, so it’s good days for the people of desert area that want to do shopping. Later we travel to Tinghir along the Tafilalt Oasis where we can stop to see the ancient system of irrigation found there.
Arriving to Tinjdad town where we will have free time for lunch. Then, continuing to Tinghir to explore the stunning views of Todra valley & walk along Todra Gorge with it orange towering cliffs, the canyons of Todra Gorge are almost 1,000 feet deep, also its a preferred place for the climbers. We will end our day in Boumalne Dades with its green valley, Dinner & overnight in a hotel / or Riad.
After breakfast, we start our journey via Dades gorges and Dades valley towards Kalaat M’Gonna & Ouarzazate. The way through Dades Valley is the route of the thousand Kasbah providing numerous opportunities to take some best picture. Then, travel along the land of Roses we will stop at Kalaat M’Gonna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater. Continuing via the oasis of Skoura where we will stop to visit the Kasbah of Ameridil. In the afternoon arriving to Ouarzazate where we will stop to admire the architecture of Taourirte Kasbah before check in to your accommodation. Dinner & overnight will be in a hotel / or Riad in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, we start our journey via Dades gorges and Dades valley towards Kalaat M’Gonna & Ouarzazate. The way through Dades Valley is the route of the thousand Kasbah providing numerous opportunities to take some best picture.
